Dave Kropf

Dave Kropf is a veteran composer, percussionist, and educator with over 115 production music credits for major networks, Netflix, CBS Sports, The Golf Channel, NBC, Sony, Disney, ABC and more. For more than two decades, Dave has taught in the US and Europe, leading percussion and music programs at Visible Music College and now as Course Director of Music Composition at Full Sail University, where he builds student-centered, industry-relevant curriculum. Holding a Master's in Jazz & Studio Music and a Bachelor's in Music History from the University of Memphis, and additional percussion and composition studies at Appalachian State University, Dave combines deep technical skill with creative insight Unified Sounds. Beyond his formal roles, Dave's early ambition was to be a film composer, a longtime dream reignited after a 20-year journey through education. In his own words, “I took a 20‑year detour into percussion education until coming to Orlando and getting plugged in as a composer” He encourages creative authenticity: carving your own voice through imitation, repetition, and honest self‑critique. Dave's studio releases, such as “Persistence Makes Perfect” and “Baller Alert” have scored primetime shows like Inside the NFL, Fastest Car, and PGA Championship coverage.
